Fantasy football Week 14: Start or sit Mohamed Sanu for TNF?

On a day that most of the Atlanta Falcons would like to forget, wide receiver Mohamed Sanu led the receiving corps in receptions and yards receiving with three catches for 43 yards in the Week 13 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan only had 173 yards passing in the contest. Sanu has been quiet most of the year and only has four games this season with over 60 yards receiving.

The matchup Thursday night against the New Orleans Saints will be a lot easier for Sanu and the rest of the Falcons’ passing game. The Saints have allowed the 16th-most yards receiving to wideouts in the league.

Fantasy impact: Sanu has not been a big fantasy factor most of the season, and that will likely not change against the Saints Thursday night. The Saints are a soft passing defense, but Sanu has not done much with his opportunities this year. He also does not get a consistent amount of targets on a weekly basis to trust during the fantasy playoffs.

Recommendation: Sit
