The Los Angeles stadium is currently under construction and was originally planned to host the 2021 Super Bowl, the second year of its existence. However, due to an unexpected amount of rain in the Los Angeles area the stadium opening has been delayed an entire year. Per NFL rules, a stadium can’t host a Super Bowl in its inaugural season so they had to push back the California Super Bowl to 2022. Replacing it in 2021 will be Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers have a quality stadium in another beautiful area of the country and have hosted Super Bowl’s before.
