The New York Giants went into Free Agency in the bottom half of the league in available cap space. With that said, they filled some big needs in free agency, including signing WR Brandon Marshall, TE Rhett Ellison, & OL D.J. Fluker. The Giants still have needs on the roster, mainly on the Offensive Line and Tight End, but overall, the Giants are in a great place to be a Super Bowl contender in 2017. Our 2017 Giants Draft Board tries to project players that “should” be drafted around the rounds that we placed them in. We look for specific traits in each player that we believe Jerry Reese would find as a valuable addition to the team. This is an ever changed 2017 Giants Draft Board, as we will continue to update it until Draft Day on April 27th 2017.

Jerry Reese prides himself on selecting the Best Player Available in the 1st Round of the NFL Draft. Sometimes, you will find people questioning if the selection was truly best player available or not, but in Reese’s eyes that’s his belief each year. No one thought Eli Apple was going to be selected by the Giants in the 1st Round of the 2016 NFL Draft, but the Giants had him at the top of the board. It was obviously not a selection for biggest need, as they would likely have selected Tunsil or another Offensive Lineman. Either way, I trust Reese to make the right selection for the Giants to be an impact in 2017 and beyond.
