Marquis Haynes is an intriguing prospect going into his senior year at Ole Miss. He has proven to be very effective as a pass rusher coming off the outside, resulting in 24.5 sacks and 36.5 tackles for loss.

One of his most commendable traits is his ability to play up to his competition. Haynes has played three years in the SEC West, playing against some of the toughest competition in the nation and has shown to be a competitor. The incoming senior changed his number to 38, a number given to upperclassmen who show courage, leadership and also other impressive qualities.

His leadership role on the Ole Miss defense has been shown, and although Marquis Haynes needs to improve on protecting the run if he is to be successful in the NFL, he has the qualities to put the work in to improve. Haynes will look to boost his draft stock this upcoming season in order to prove that he is a next level linebacker.
