Leo Lewis has gone from highly touted prospect to being out of shape and overweight and back in football shape within his first year at Mississippi State. Lewis has been a physical Linebacker who is unafraid to shy away from contact, and a superior run stuffer.

The major knock for Leo Lewis is the alleged payment accepted by the sophomore to switch his commitment from Ole Miss to Mississippi State, creating a huge set of allegations and potential NCAA rule violations to come to fruition.

The bottom line with this young Linebacker is that talent wise, the kid can ball. He registered 79 tackles with 5 for loss and a sack, starting all 13 games in 2016. If he can manage to stay out of trouble and figure out his issues with the NCAA, Lewis has the opportunity to boost his draft stock and become a force on an NFL defense.
