Connor McGovern looked very impressive during his first year at Penn State, starting nine games as a true freshman. He played Right Guard, where during his first year where he was able to show that because of his high football IQ and phenomenal balance, he can make up for being just an average athlete.

Playing in the Big 10, he is in competition with some of the best offensive lineman in the NCAA and he has proven himself thus far. He is a bit undersized on the offensive line, but his hard work and determination make up for it. Connor McGovern is your stereotypical, gritty offensive lineman and should continue to grow with age along with adding on body mass.

If McGovern is able to add size and improve his craft, he looks to project as an effective interior lineman for years to come at the NFL level.
